Flexibility has long been part of how we work and it is here to stay with Amex flex, our enterprise working model. Amex provides colleagues with paid time off (PTO) and leave policies, so that you have time to enjoy life away from work and take time off when you need it most in your life.

Annual Holiday

Taking time off to unwind and catch up with your passions in life are so important for your well-being. Your annual holiday entitlement is based on your band and length of service with us but all colleagues are required to take a minimum of 28 days paid holiday which includes eight public holidays.

Are there any flex options?

As well as your core holiday entitlement, you can buy or sell up to five days annual holiday (pro-rated and converted to hours for part-timers). All colleagues are able to benefit from this flexibility. Restrictions may apply related to HMRC Salary Sacrifice and minimum leave restrictions.

When can I select it in FYB Flex?

You can choose to buy or sell your holiday days during the annual enrolment window only. Your holiday entitlement in ePayroll will be updated with your FYB Flex option in January.

Where do I go to book Annual holiday?

ePayroll is the system of record for your holiday entitlement and is where you can review your entitlement and request leave. You can access ePayroll via The Square or from your personal device by downloading the ePayroll App.
